A Big Step Forward This Week Now Working With Simon Coulson The Top Digital Marketer In The UK

I am really excited about something which developed over last weekend, when I attended an Online Diploma In Marketing run by Simon Coulson from the Internet Business School based in Kent in England.

Around 20 years ago Simon Coulson worked for BT a large telecoms company headquartered in the city of London, UK as a corporate executive.

Simon had worked for BT for many years and earned a normal salary, but was constantly under pressure at his work in London, and he undertook a daily 2 hour journey from home each way on top of his long working hours.

After one such long working day, Simon had a blackout on the escalator down to the underground when he was commuting home one evening after working in London. He was diagnosed with exhaustion after continued long working hours and a long commuting journey from Kent daily. Simon knew that he had to change his life.

Simon had the opportunity to take redundancy from BT shortly afterwards and accepted their payoff, although it was not that much money, only around $12k. With the funds he bought a second hand van for his rock band that he belonged to, and a small property in Bulgaria, that to this day he has never visited.

Simon´s hobby and passion has always been music and he loved playing with his friends in his cover band, who used to earned very little money playing at pubs and different gigs in the Kent area, only around $100 per gig which was just enough to cover the petrol for the van travelling to and from their gigs, and to cover the bar bill at the event.

One of Simon´s early applications of his marketing skills was to change the band from being a general cover band, that did not command much money for each gig, into a Cold Play cover band where they could quadruple the amount they received for each gig to $400.

Simon began marketing and selling things using the internet working from his home in a small terraced house in Ashford Kent and soon found ways to make his business profitable.

He wrote property "How To" guides for people who were interested to buy property in Bulgaria because this country was due to join the EU at the time around 2003 and it was considered that property prices there would significantly increase once that happened. This was followed by many other property guides, then career guides to help people to do things by saving them time to research them.

One of Simon´s mentors was a top internet marketer called Andrew Reynolds who has made more than $80m of online sales, and Simon followed in Andrew´s footsteps and built a very succesful worldwide business mainly selling educational products online.

Simon´s Internet Business School (IBS) is now the top such business in the UK and it has a great reputation and feedback from customers.

Simon does many joint ventures with other suppliers of educational products, and has developed a business model which is extremely profitable for him, where he joint ventures with his partners who often sell marketing and educational courses to his own database of subscribers.

Apart from selling more stuff, Simon always encourages his joint venture partners to make a special offer to his customers, so you often find some amazing deals from the IBS, which is why many of Simon´s subscribers are loyal to him - because he always offers them fantastic value for money
